Cast of Characters

While the subject matter and tone of this blog is more or less completely random, there are a few consistencies: It is written in and around Portland, Maine, and it pretty much always involves one or more of the following people or things. It’s also delightful.

Cast of Characters

Sam:

Writer of blog posts which rarely make cohesive sense. She likes knitting, Harry Potter, making sure her nails are always fly as hell, making friendship bracelets, and threatening to send people letters in the mail without ever actually doing it. She does a lot of online shopping, practicing makeup tutorials, and, against the advice of council, googling  most of the questions that pop into her head. She’s pretty messy, too.

Eric:

Photographer. Musician. Boyfriend. Room mate. Bearded. Bespectacled. Very tidy. Very patient.

 

 

 

Avery:

Cat. Jerk. Earplug enthusiast. Hobbies include maintaining his suspiciously soft fur, breaking mirrors and glasses, chirping like a bird, eating earplugs, and pooping at inopportune times.

 

 

 

Giles:

Future diabetic. Scientist. Weatherman. Avery’s punching bag. Loves to walk on top of your head as you sleep. Clumsy. Playful despite his icy stare.
